Eventful September for Isolde 7th September 2006 Following a short summer break, Isolde Holderied's schedule is packed with activities once more. Recently, she closely followed the Touring Car World Championship races in Brno. In the next few weeks, she is scheduled to attend to the drivers of the Toyota Yaris Cup again, as well as visit several European race tracks as Toyota brand ambassador. Last weekend, the Touring Car World Championship visited the Czech city of Brno. Isolde's particular focus was concentrated on Philip Geipel, last year's Toyota Yaris Cup winner. The 19-year-old, who will enter the German ADAC Procar Series this season, proved he has the necessary talent to become a successful racing driver during his appearance in the WTCC. Isolde met Geipel during the course of the 2005 Yaris Cup season and says: "Philip has great potential. He invests everything into motor sports racing and showed his qualities in Brno. He was a worthy winner of the Yaris Cup and now he is continuing to work on his career." In two weeks time, on the 16 th and 17 th of September, Isolde will once more attend to the drivers during the sixth race of the Toyota Yaris Cup on the Salzburgring. Currently, Christiaan Frankenhout from the Netherlands is ahead in the overall classification. At the end of September, the final of the race series for young talents takes place in the Motosport Arena Oschersleben. One week later, the former Rallye World Champion will travel to Silverstone, where she will be present at the Formula One testing programme of the Panasonic Toyota Racing Team. At the traditional British race track, Isolde will attend to the clients of the Japanese car manufacturer in her function as Toyota brand ambassador. |
